The Tajikistan Trade Portal, launched on the 26th April 2019, is managed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan. With technical assistance from ITC and UNCTAD, the portal plays a key role in digitizing and streamlining cross-border trade procedures in the Central Asian region.
The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan acknowledges the generous support of its international partners who have financed the development of the portal and related trade facilitation initiatives since 2017:
- Funded by SECO and supported by UNDP and OSCE
- Funded by European Union through the projects Ready4Trade Central Asia phase I and II
Their contributions have been instrumental in enhancing trade efficiency and regional economic integration.
